The Cast:

Judy Garland, considered by many to be the World's Greatest Entertainer, played Dorothy Gale in the Wizard of Oz.
(b. June 10, 1922 - d. June 22, 1969)

Frank Morgan whose original name was Frank Wuppermann, played several parts, including Professor Marvel, the Doorman, the cabby, a guard and The Wizard of Oz, himself.
(b. June 1, 1890 - d. September 18, 1949)

Ray Bolger played Hunk and the Scarecrow.
(b. January 10, 1904 - d. January 15, 1987)

Bert Lahr played Zeke and the Cowardly Lion.
(b. August 13, 1895 - d. December 4, 1967)

Jack Haley played Hickory and the Tin Man.
(b. August 10, 1898 - d. June 6, 1979)

Margaret Hamilton played Miss Almira Gulch and the Wicked Witch of the West.
(b. December 19, 1902 - d. May 16, 1985)

Billie Burke played Glinda, the Good Witch of the North.
(b. August 7, 1884 - d. May 14, 1970)

Charley Grapewin played Uncle Henry.
(b. December 20, 1869 - d. Feb. 2, 1956)

Clara Blandick played Auntie Em.
(b. June 4, 1881 - d. April 15, 1962)

Terry played Dorothy's dog, Toto. Terry was a female Cairn Terrier owned and trained by Carl Spitz. After filming the Wizard of Oz, Terry was renamed Toto.
